DAY 1 – BE-ATTITUDES

“One day Jesus saw a vast crowd of people gathering to hear him, so He went up the slope of a hill and sat down. With His followers and disciples spread over the hillside, Jesus began to teach them.” Matthew 5:1-2

Known as the Sermon on the Mount, let’s take a journey through the wisdom, instructions, guidance, and resulting blessings of these precious words from our King Jesus.

This is most probably one of the most powerful groupings of revelation given as a lamp to our feet and keys to drawing closer to God.

Found in Matthew 5:1-12, we find the “Beatitudes” or the “be-attitudes” – the attitudes we are to be engaging in for our refinement and preparation for Kingdom life.

Jesus gives us more than laws; He gives us promises of power to fulfill all that He asks of us. The emphasis is not on outward duty but the inward transformation of our hearts by grace.

God’s kingdom is offered to those who will learn the ways of Christ and offer themselves to Him in full surrender.

“The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light to enter into your being. If your heart is unclouded, the light floods in!” Matthew 6:22 TPT

Prayer: Precious Jesus, thank You for allowing us to share in the Sermon on the Mount. Thank You for the joy of sitting at Your feet and learning from You. Holy Spirit, please bring revelation and insight to enable our practical living and application of these powerful words. May Jesus be glorified forever! Amen.
