Day 13 – Make Time For Exercise
“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.” Romans 12:1
It is general knowledge that exercise has great benefits for the body, which in turn influences our moods. No need to go outside of who you are and get involved with things you know you do not like and will not keep up with – rather begin with something as small as walking an extra 50 steps in your day and the benefits will present themselves in your ability to present to God a well-balanced servant because that is how we are created!
Prayer: Father, thank you that we can go from small to great, that consistency and perseverance and not size is the measuring staff. As we give extra attention to Your temple, Lord, please bless us with tenacity and make us strong! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
