Day 17 – Pray against evil in your home

“Reject every kind of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:22 ESV

I do not look for evil behind every nook and cranny of our home, but it is our Christian responsibility to be aware of the devil prowling around like a lion. Pray against malicious talk, gossip, negativity, fear, addiction (alcoholism, drugs, pornography, etc.) deception, lying, hate, and anger. Pray over the doors and windows of your home rejecting any and every kind of evil to enter.

Praying against evil

Father, today I pray against every kind of evil that might have entered our home or want to enter our home. In Jesus’s Name, I reject evil and ask that You would protect our home and everyone and everything in it. Show us what needs to be removed from our home that is not honouring to You. Please help us to discern with the Holy Spirit what is Your truth and what is evil. Amen.
