Day 22 – Learn to Recognize Your Body’s Stress Signals

“Out of my distress I called on the Lord; The Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can [mere] man do to me?” Psalms 118:5-6
As we walk with our Creator, we are being taught to know and recognise our emotions. As beings created to feel only bliss, we can be assured that anything other than that is a danger signal in warning that attack is eminent. But we are not powerless, but endowed with weapons which are not carnal, but mighty of God in the pulling down of strongholds. When the enemy comes in like a river, let God rise within you like a flood with a song of praise pushing the darkness back and setting it to flight!
Prayer: Father, what powerful weapons You have given us, a song of praise that can set a troop of the enemy to flight, authority to which the enemy’s knee must bow, the power to withstand and he must flee… As we navigate this time full of traps, may we be aware of our emotions and bodies, Lord, always choosing what is best for Your vessel. In Jesus name. Amen.
