Day 24 – Through all odds, I am loved

“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

In 2017, someone introduced me to Women of the Word. I was deeply touched by the things I’ve learned there. It was then, through Women of the Word, that God has spoken to me. I started seriously seeking God. I accepted Jesus into my life. That very same year I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I could not understand what was happening after accepting the Lord into my life.

The devil tried to convince me not to believe in God. Telling me to turn away from God. My health deteriorated rapidly. I was in and out of the hospital. Every day the devil would tempt me to give up on God. But I believe it was the good teachings and powerful prayers from Women of the Word that helped me to hold on to my faith in God. Last year I almost died in a car accident. God is faithful by still proving His existence to me today.

I am still going strong. I belong to a wonderful church. I’ve started my own home-cell group. I’m also involved in the worship team.

I want to stop here by saying, God and Christianity are the best choices you can make for your life. You always end up a winner in the middle of challenges.”

Having walked a road with this lady, I can testify that while she is going strong, she uses every opportunity to bring her family to the Lord through persistent forgiveness and prayer. And I feel this testimony is only the tip of the iceberg of what she will achieve with Jesus.

Prayer: Father, thank You for showing us that through all odds, we are loved by You and that You would go to great lengths to show Your love and faithfulness to us. Thank You that each life is precious and not matter where we came from or what our circumstances were, God will work for good for those who love Him. Amen.
