Day 34- Make an Effort to Communicate
“Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak].” Ephesians 4:29
Such as our world is, we are surrounded and confronted with people and situations that easily cause resentment and grudges. These are not to be cherished, leaving a false sense of entitlement and haughtiness. If something went wrong, clear the air, but without expectation of receiving an apology or change, but grab hold of the knowledge that the truth sets you free and then forgive – our strongest weapon – for it relieves the enemy of the power to control your emotions through what is in the past and cannot be changed.
Prayer: Precious Saviour, we shall no longer be controlled by worldly things, but will keep our minds free of all that is not worthy. We will let go, forgive, let our hearts be healed by You and embrace our newfound freedom with gratitude. Thank you that truth sets us free, even when everything seems to remain the same, it is not, because we have changed. Hallelujah! In Jesus name. Amen
