Day 35 – Partake in a Communion Session

“…and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is (represents) My body, which is [offered as a sacrifice] for you. Do this in [affectionate] remembrance of Me.” In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in [affectionate] remembrance of Me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24-25

Take communion as often as you can, the command Jesus gave was not without reason. Taking the bread and cup, reminds us of not only the forgiveness of sin and being reunited with our Father, but it also seals and ratifies us in the spirit, making us unmistakable pillars of light in the darkness. This might seem like visibility makes us targets, but in truth, when the Omnipotent is your protection, it is a warning and you will find that trouble steers clear of you…

Prayer: When we were children in the spirit, Lord, we thought these things You gave us to do as mere rituals, but You have opened our eyes and we now know that what You command has an everlasting effect of power! As we take communion with grateful hearts, may our light shine every brighter for Your glory. In Jesus name. Amen
