Day 4 – Give Strangers a “Secret Gift”

“Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift].”  2 Corinthians 9:7

Even a smile can be a gift when received at the right time. Let your integrity, love, patience, kindness, and mercy be seen even there where no others can see it.

Be the bible that strangers read when no one “who matters” is there it impress. Just as our weapons are not cardinal, so the biggest gifts we can give are not carnal, but divine in the genuine portraying of the true nature of our God.

Prayer: You have called us to be imitators of You, Father. You to take the heart of stone from us and replace it with a heart of flesh which knows Your will and today we place our crown of selfishness on the altar so that we might obtain the crown of humility and truthfulness in our love for one another. May we be an accurate reflection, bringing only glory to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
