Day 7 – Enthroned on my praises!

Psalm 22:3 “You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.”
Where is God? David wrote that God lives in the praises of His people, or as this translation above states: He is enthroned on our praise.
David praised God when he was happy. He praised God when he was at his lowest point. He praised God not because he necessarily felt like it. Whether he was in danger or sat peacefully tending to his sheep, He praised God. He exalted God because he knew His Shepherd intimately and simply because He was worthy of praise. Through praise, David acknowledged God’s love and involvement in his life.
He said, “I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.”
He praised because “my heart is confident in You, Oh God, my heart is confident.”
Although God is constantly present in our lives, we are not always consciously aware of Him. But when we worship Him, our focus changes and we become aware of His presence. This is one of the reasons why praise and worship is so significant. Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise!
Prayer: Father, I lift You high in praise and I’ll bless your name into eternity. I will bless you every day because You are worthy. God, You are magnificent; You can never be praised enough! There are no boundaries to Your greatness. Thank you for being eternally present, Lord! Amen.
