Words – Day 15 by Iriza

Words Attract – Choose Love
“For ‘He who would love life and see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit” 1 Peter 3:10
Words can be the difference between living good days or going through days filled with deceit and riddled with lies. The difference between a relationship reconciled or ended. Our powerful words enable us to make the powerful choice to love life and speaking good about. This includes your own life, your family, friends, neighbours, work and even your county. Or you can use your words to spread deceit and lies in the areas mentions.
Would you rather choose to love with your words, or to hurt? When you choose to speak with a tongue of love, it attracts people, because who would want to be in constant companionship with a negative person? And when you attract people with loving words, you bring them closer to God. Their negative words can influence your faith, causing you not to see the good days. When each day was created by God – He said that it was good. Let’s see the good days.
Prayer: Father, it’s not always easy to love life and see the good days. We allow our words to spread deceit and lies without us realising it. Father, please forgive me the times I was deceitful with my mouth and lied. Teach me to choose words of love to attract others to You. Amen.
