Words Attract – Words bring Joy!

“A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season, how good it is!” Proverbs 15:23

My discernment senses start tingling (just like Spiderman’s spidey sense) when someone says “Do you want the bad news or the good news first?” I don’t like bad news! And I don’t know of any person who does. Bad news (or negative words) leaves debris behind like the carnage of an oi spill on the beach. Good news bring joy. Testimonies bring joy. Speaking about Gods goodness bring joy. Positive speaking brings joy. But not just the words that carry to your ears. Your words bring joy to others too. I love seeing hearts lift and eyes light up when talking positively to others and most of all, talking about God. The gospel is not called the Good News for no reason. Spreading the gospel bring joy.

Prayer: Father, thank You that the Good News of Your Son, Jesus Christ, bring joy to me and to the hearts of others. Teach me to speak joyous words with my mouth and to know the season in which to speak them. Amen.
