Our story
In the spring of 2014, on a quiet, rainy afternoon, God placed a clear instruction on my heart: start a blog. Honestly, I wished He had said get a dog—because blogging was something I knew nothing about. Like Moses, I wrestled with questions and doubts, wondering if God had chosen the right woman for the task. I had followed blogs for years, but creating one felt like climbing a mountain I wasn’t equipped to scale.
Yet with His guidance, the ministry of Women of the Word was born. What began as a simple weekly blog quickly grew into something far greater than I could have imagined. Within months, it became a daily devotional platform, reaching thousands of women across the world with the truth of God’s Word.
This ministry has flourished through the dedication of writers who pour out their time, love, and faith to serve you. Our passion is simple yet profound: to share the truth of Scripture in devotionals that speak to the everyday realities of a woman’s life, encouraging her to stand firm on God’s promises.
Every inspiration, prayer, and devotional is rooted in the Bible—the living Word of God. Our mission is to uplift, support, and teach women everywhere, reminding them that His Word is unchanging, His promises are sure, and His love is eternal.

We share devotionals—written by women, for women—six days a week, publishing faithfully throughout the year on our Blog, Facebook, and WhatsApp platforms.
We share devotionals and prayers – written by women, for women – six days a week, publishing faithfully throughout the year through our website, social media platforms. In partnership with WOW Ministry and Lewende Woord Westerlig, we also distributed printed devotional booklets to women in Malawi. To ensure accessibility, these booklets were lovingly translated into Chichewa, their heart language. Since then, God has opened doors for us to send printed devotionals with missionary teams to North African countries and Brazil, extending the reach of His Word to women across cultures and continents.
