In the spring of 2014 on a rainy afternoon God told me to start a blog. At first, like Moses, I had a lot of questions and wondered if God had the right woman for the job as I knew very little of creating a blog. I had plenty of experience to follow blogs, but creating one… it felt like a mountainous task I did not feel equipped for. With His guidance the ministry of Women of the Word was brought to life. Little did I know, on that rainy afternoon, the plan and growth He had planned for this amazing journey. From a weekly blog, Women of the Word grew to a daily devotional platform where the Word of God are being send to thousands of women around the world. We have grown from one, two to five devotional writers from 2014 until today.
Our passion is to get the truth of God’s Word through devotionals about everyday things in a woman’s life to as many women as possible.
We are taught from the Bible – the Word of God – to stand fast on His Word. His promises. The devotionals, inspirations and prayers are written to inspire, uplift, support and teach women from all over the World about His word.
We have been distributing devotionals (written by women for women) from Monday to Saturday throughout the year – publishing through our Blog page, Facebook and WhatsApp.
We distributed printed booklets with daily devotionals to women in Malawi together with WOW Ministry and Lewende Woord Westerlig. These booklets were also translated to Chichewa, their mother tongue.
Since then we were fortunate to send printed booklets with missionary groups to North African countries and Brazil.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Normal woman, like you and me, taking time out of their busily scheduled lives to write for you. I believe God carefully chose them to bless us with His word.
Pastor, wife, and mother of two beautiful daughters (with a full time career) I understand the juggling of ministry and everyday life. I have been lied to by the enemy and the worst is that I believed the carefully spun lies. Until I started to intensely study God’s Word where He showed me His truth which set me free.
The Word of God is precious to me and I fall in love with it daily. It is my calling to share the Truth so you, my dear friend, can fall hopelessly in love with it too.
I was baptized when I was 17 years old and committed my life to the Lord. My only wish was – and is – to serve Him.
The more I grew in the Lord the more gifts He blessed me with. My husband, Carlos and I are currently pastors at our church in Centurion, South Africa.
My passion is to serve the Lord by serving others. All I want is for the Lord to be glorified. Less of me and more of Jesus in me.
I am a daughter of our Father, which makes us family. I was born in Salisbury, Rhodesia, 1974. Immigrated to South Africa with my parents when I was 9 years old. I got married and have two sons. Life’s storms happened and we got divorced. I had my own business for 7 years, but discovered my purpose in 2016 when Father called me to write a book and share about His goodness and grace. With the publishing of my book, my new season started. I sold my business and now have the privilege of doing what I love – writing. I also do editing, proof reading and translation work.
My sole purpose is to be who I was created to be. I have one desire and that is to please our Father and keep myself positioned in His rest.
I am married to a wonderful husband, Attie. I have a passion for women who have been hurt and broken and it’s my heart to encourage, motivate and uplift as the Holy Spirit leads me. Writing is the platform to express and testify what God has done for me over the years and I hope to bring healing, hope, and the heart of God to those who have lost hope.
Born in 1987 in Hartswater. She grew up in Jan Kempdorp and moved to Bloemfontein (2006), where she completed her Honors degree in Drama and Theatre Arts at UFS. Since starting her professional career (2009) she has been an actor, director, writer, producer, stage, and production manager for numerous productions. Her passion is telling stories that will bring people to Jesus. She presents a yearly Passion Play as part of the Bloemfontein Community Theater. She is currently the technical coordinator for the Vrystaat Arts festival, manages both the Odeion String Quartet and the Free State Symphony Orchestra.
Born in the wonderful year of ’69 and according to sources apparently a mix of hurricane and sunshine, princess and warrior… I was blessed with 4 children of which 3 are still in this life and living with me in Pretoria, South Africa. I am of single status after loosing the husband I knew and loved to a stroke. Although dedicated to my work as a sworn transcriber, no day starts without spending quality time with my Saviour, which of course paves the way to a successful and fulfilling day. I find my joy in the presence of the Lord. I was created for a time like this and am grateful beyond measure to my God who allows me to live for His glory!
