Day 2 – Pray and intercede for them daily

𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐩. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬!

You may have a loved one or a friend whose relationship with you is no longer what it once was because you believed in Jesus. Life happens, and over time, close and longstanding relationships can fade away as we grow in different ways. As our children grow, they often become their own persons, forming new opinions and falling in love with the world around them. Let’s be honest, praying and interceding for the unsaved to get saved is like going to war. It is spiritual warfare of prayer in conflict and confrontation. Just like a soldier, you need to put your Armour on and have endurance to pray every day. Some days more than once a day.

In 1 Timothy 2, the Apostle Paul urges us to petition, pray, and intercede. Let the name of the unsaved be known by heaven. As we journey through the process of calling the unsaved to the Father’s will, let’s commit to petitioning for them, praying for them, interceding on their behalf, and giving thanks for what God is about to do. Listen, our Heavenly Father loves our children, family, and friends even more than we do. Let’s hold on to God’s promise that nothing can separate us from His love, and today we stand on that promise.

Prayer: Lord, our Heavenly Father, today we begin to petition for our loved ones. We bring their names before Your throne, trusting that Heaven hears our prayers. Thank You that salvation is available to everyone. We believe You are working in their lives, and we give You all the praise and glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen. ©
