Day 12 – Faith that prevails

Faith that prevails is victorious and overcomes trials and temptations. Without faith, it is impossible to please God and faith is the essential ingredient to being fruitful. 

“And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

Faith enables our victory over small and big battles that hold us back from achieving our full potential in life, through the guidance of The Holy Spirit.

Without Faith, we cannot be victorious or fruitful!

To have faith in Jesus Christ means to trust Him and obey His commandments. Faith is much more than passive belief. We express our faith through action- by the way, we live. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV

To build our faith we need to encourage ourselves in the Lord. This is the only way to have the strength of Spirit and flourishing fruit. “And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters; but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6

This was how “David strengthened himself in the Lord his God” and was able to face and overcome his problems with the help the Lord gave him. We require the strength of the Spirit to live fruitful, virtuous, and victorious lives. This strength of spirit comes as we draw near to our Saviour in faith. 

Prayer: Jesus help me to believe in the things I cannot see an increase in me my Faith. Help me to fully accept and embrace your love for me and strengthen my faith walk daily! Lord to walk with You is much greater than walking without You. Without you I am nothing. Amen.
