Over the past days, we have explored what it means to be a wife, a partner, and above all, a helper. We have seen that being a helper is not about weakness or subordination, but about strength, partnership, and divine calling. From understanding submission, to supporting accountability, to doing good for our husbands, to treating them with love and respect, each lesson has pointed us back to Godโs design for marriage.
A helper is one who uplifts, encourages, and strengthens. She is the heartbeat of the home, the prayer warrior who covers her husband, the partner who stands shoulder to shoulder in lifeโs battles. She is not passive, but active in love, wisdom, and faith. She is not oppressed but empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfil her role with dignity and grace.
Marriage is a journey of sanctification, where both husband and wife are shaped into the image of God. As helpers, we are called to embrace this journey with humility, patience, and unwavering trust in Godโs order. Our role is vital, not only for the wellbeing of our husbands and households, but also as a testimony of Godโs love to the world.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the gift of marriage and for the calling You have placed on wives to be helpers. Teach us to embrace this role with joy, strength, and humility. Help us to support our husbands faithfully, to pray diligently for them, and to reflect Your love in our homes. May our marriages be a living testimony of Christโs sacrificial love and Your divine order. Strengthen us to walk in unity, purpose, and grace, so that together we may fulfil Your will. In Jesusโ name, Amen. ยฉ
