Day 10 – Sowing
Sowing
“You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, or everything produced by the seed which you have sown and the yield of the vineyard will become defiled [and banned for use].” Deuteronomy 22:9 (AMP)
After the preparation of our soul (soil) we need to select good seeds and disperse them. Seeds are referring to the word of God. Reaching our purpose and having a great harvest will depend on the quality of seed we deposit into our souls and allow us to grow.
“It is better to plant good seeds than to mourn bad weather.” – Matshona Dhliwayo
We have two choices when it comes to our winter season, we can either complain and moan about how things look and feel or we can decide to plant good seeds by staying focused on the word of God and allowing His word to be a lamp to our feet. His word never returns void and His purpose and will for your life will come to pass.
“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 ESV
May we be encouraged today to choose the word of God above anything else and trust in God for the increase of our fruit.
“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness” 2 Corinthians 9:0 (NKJV)
Prayer: Holy Spirit please help us to choose the word of God once our souls have been prepared. Thank You that the word of God is a lamp to our feet and even in our winter times we can trust in the word of God to sustain, nourish and help us reach our God-given purpose. Amen.
