Day 13 – Treating your husband as king

I have a friend who always, on any occasion, cares for her husband first before attending to the rest of the guests. At first, I thought it was disrespectful according to my standards. But she gracefully put me in my place by answering, โHe is my king, and I serve my king first.โ What an inspiring example she sets, showing that her love for her husband comes first by caring for him and making his well-being her highest priority. In her household, he is her king, and she makes sure he is treated as one.
๐๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ท๐ฆ ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ, ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ท๐ฆ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ฉ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ญ๐บ becomes truly meaningful because itโs not just about grand gestures, but about small acts that make your husband feel like a king. Itโs the little gestures of kindness, respect, and care that build a strong, loving marriage.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for giving us husbands to love and to care for. Help us make our husbands feel like kings in their homes. As the queen, help us to respect our husbands and to love them in difficult seasons. Teach us to show love through our actions and decisions, and to be steadfast in our commitment to each other. May our love be deep and enduring, rooted in You. In Jesusโ name, I pray. Amen. ยฉ
