Day 14 – I am HEALED

She suffered 12 years from a bleeding condition. That is 4745 days of constant blood. With this kind of condition, she was constantly rejected by society, seen as impure.
An ugly rejection bestowed up on her and it wat not even her fault. She had spent so much money on doctors and healers and no one could cure her. But then Jesus arrived in her town. She had so much faith that she said to herself, if she could just touch Jesus garment, she would be healed. Among a busy crowd with so many people touching Jesus, He felt her touch. She could not be seen, but, Jesus felt her. He turned around and demanded to know who touched Him. Of course, Jesus knew who it was, but He was going exalt and honour her in front of the same society that rejected her. She said it was I, and everyone saw her. Jesus said to her, your faith has made you well, go in peace.
Jesus saw her.
Jesus sees you too.
She came to the well and Jesus asked her to give him some water. She was a Samaritan woman, how could Jesus be talking to her? Jews don’t talk to Samaritans. Jesus said to her that he knows about all her husbands and even the man that she was with at that moment was not her husband. This woman, with no good reputation, Jesus saw her. The woman askes Jesus to give her of the water that won’t make her thirsty again. Jesus reveals to her that He is the Messiah. She runs to town and tells many about the Messiah. The Word of God says that many became believers that day. Because of her, people came to know that this man at the well was Jesus, the Saviour of the world. Jesus healed her, restored her ashes for beauty. Many Samaritans who dared to believe and talk to Jesus found him as their Messiah.
Jesus saw them.
Jesus sees you too.
She was thrown to the ground in front of Jesus. The adulterer! She had so many accusers accusing her of adultery. They were ready to stone this woman. This disgusting abomination they saw in front of them. Hatred and cruelty disfiguring their expressions. There was no room for grace or mercy as their eyes spit fire towards this woman. Jesus does not even look up at them. He continues writing in the sand. And then Jesus makes a statement. Those of you who have committed no sin, be the first to cast the stone toward this woman. This woman was expecting the stones to start piercing her, but feels no pain. Instead, she hears stones fall to the ground one by one as the accusers leave. Jesus asked the woman, where her accusers were, did not even one condemn her? She replied no, Lord. Jesus then said to her to go and not sin again. Jesus healed her heart. He healed her circumstances. She found love and experienced love where she had thought previously that it did not exist.
Jesus saw her.
Jesus sees you too.
Jesus will heal you completely. He is Jehovah Rapha, the Healer.
