Day 16 – Unity for the home

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:2-3 ESV

I think this is such a great goal for those in your home – to be patient and bearing with one another in love while making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Start proclaiming these words over your home and not only are you praying for them, but you’re putting these words in your heart and changing your attitude! Where there is peace, there is unity.

Praying for unity for the home

Father, today I pray that those in my household be patient with each other and to bear with one another in love. May they always seek Your love to show it. May every person make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in our household through the bond of peace. I ask that the bond of peace be strengthened in our minds, hearts, and souls to reflect in the unity of our home. Amen.
