Day 3 – Pray in the Holy Spirit
“… by praying every moment in the Spirit.” Jude 1:20(b)
The interpretation and understanding here are to pray in tongues or pray “in the Spirit”, meaning to be Spirit guided.
It can also mean “pray as led by the Spirit”, “pray in the Spirit realm” or “pray by means of the power of the Spirit”.
Paul says: “I will pray in the Spirit, but I will also pray with my mind engaged. I will sing rapturous praises in the Spirit, but I will also sing with my mind engaged.” 1 Corinthians 14:15
When I read this I’m reminded of praying constantly; meaning the conscious decision and action of praying.
“Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God on all believers.” Ephesians 6:18 (b)
Clearly, ALL means we need to be praying ALL the time.
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for the gift of prayer and the right standing won for us through Jesus to approach Your throne with confidence. Holy Spirit, well up in me so I will pray at all times. I pray for Your blessings on all believers Pappa. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
