Day 2 – Build up your Inner Life

“But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the spirit” Jude 1:20 TPT

In this one sentence, Jude effectively gives us 2 keys. Although praying every moment in the spirit is a way/practice to build up our most holy faith, let’s focus on the first part: BUILD YOURSELVES UP IN THE FOUNDATION.

Building up our most holy faith on the FOUNDATION of it!! “Faith then is birthed in the heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the anointed one.” Romans 10:17 

The instruction is more than believing and responding to God’s gift of Jesus, but doing so constantly and progressively. 

Acts 14:22 “…they strengthened the lives of believers and encouraged them to go deeper in the faith.”

If faith is birthed in the heart by the response, then faithfulness is the result of constantly responding. Think about that! Consistent, constant, repetitive, and increasing responses in faith forms in us the faithfulness of a true child of the Holy one. 

Run to Him and drink freely! His arms are open. 

Prayer: Abba, only through Your Spirit am I able to respond to You and the truth. Flood me with Your revelation light so that my heart will constantly respond and grow in my most holy faith. I ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
