Day 20 – Blessed obedience
“God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3
A devotional on Biblical blessings.
“God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3
“Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.” Romans 12:14
“The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household.” 2 Samuel 6:11 NKJV
“But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 AMP
“I will certainly give you the wisdom and knowledge you requested. But I will also give you wealth, riches, and fame such as no other king has had before you or will ever have in the future!” 2 Chronicles 1:12 NLT
You might wonder, as I did, how we access all these blessings.
Our inheritance through Christ is so big that the riches of glory, the presence of God, and our eternal home does not even begin to scratch the surface of all the blessings connected to our inheritance.
God gave me the blessing of knowledge to understand through His wisdom, His will.
In the same way, it is painful for us to admit our guilt and to know that the innocent and holy Son of God took the punishment for our sins.
So, if we are freed by the blessing of redemption, why do we choose to shackle ourselves with the guilt of our sin when the enemy starts accusations against us?
