Day5 – Fasten your life to the Love of God – Praying in Tongues

“Fasten your hearts to the love of God…” Jude 1:21

As we said, building up our most holy faith constantly and progressively, and praying in the Spirit at all times fastens our hearts to the love of God.

So why does praying in tongues or praying in the Spirit fasten our hearts to the love of God?

Tongues are the language of Heaven that enables us to speak to the heart of God. Speaking to God’s heart connects our hearts to His.

The Holy Spirit intercedes for us so we pray completely in line with God’s will.

God is LOVE and with the help of tongues, the Holy Spirit ties each of us to the heart of God’s will and tender passion for us.

Faith pleases God and since tongues are a complete act of faith, it magnifies our faith in God and edifies us.

“For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 14:2

Ultimately, tongues are evidence of the Holy Spirit in us, which is our signet ring confirming that we are legitimate children of God. Bought for us with the cross of Jesus and is the ultimate expression of God’s love.

Prayer: Father, thank You that I am sealed with the Holy Spirit. Remind me to pray in the Spirit at all times. I pray Your will come to pass and I come in agreement by allowing the Holy Spirit to manifest Your will and tie me tightly to Your love. Amen.
