Day 18 – Strengths of Spiritual Feelers

“𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥, ‘𝘔𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵” 𝘌𝘹𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘴 33:14

A spiritual feeler might not always understand why their emotions seem to be out of tune, especially when they are around other people. Rest assured, it’s not your emotions putting your spiritual senses in hyper gear. Highlighting some strengths might help you to determine if you are a spiritual feeler. Remember that this sensitivity is a gift, not a burden.

• 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: They sense God’s heart and see His love for people, even when the world looks away. They are often ready with encouraging scripture.

• 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: They pick up on what most people miss, perceiving situations differently and diffusing tension or danger through emotional sensitivity.

• 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆: They easily pick up on emotions, sometimes even experiencing feelings that don’t belong to them. It takes dedication of time and prayer to understand who God is pointing out to you.

• 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆: They encounter powerful emotions while reading the Word, feeling God’s heart through His truth.

Spiritual feelers are like bridges. Bringing God’s heart into situations where others struggle to connect emotionally. Their gift is a living testimony of His compassion.

Pray with me: Father, thank You for this beautiful gift of Spiritual Feeling. Thank You for allowing Your emotions to be felt through Your children, so Your love can reach others. I pray that You guide spiritual feelers to understand their gift more deeply and to interpret Your emotions with wisdom and compassion. Amen. ©
