Day 12 – Germination
Germination (development & maturity)
“Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.” Galatians 6:9 (AMP)
The germination (maturity & growth) of the seed (word of God) refers to patience. A seed increases in value through patience and becomes a tree, seeds never lose their potential, not even in the dirt. The word of God planted in our hearts should never lose its power, not even in dark, hard seasons.
“If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and [obediently] do them, then I will give you rain in its season, and the land will yield her produce and the trees of the field bear their fruit.” Leviticus 26:3-4 (AMP)
The process of applying the word of God (truth) and reaping a harvest will require a lot of patience and endurance working our way to the breakthrough. The power of our seed will depend on our ability to see the things we hope for not yet manifested.
“Show me your seed and I’ll show you your harvest.” – Matshona Dhliwayo
Let us be encouraged today to trust God in the process, as we allow the seed to grow in our hearts, remaining patient and persevering as the word enables us to endure the winter seasons and work our way to the light. The more we grow and mature in the word, the closer we get to our harvest.
“But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure.” Romans 8:25 (AMP)
Prayer: Holy Spirit please give us the strength and the vision to stand strong in our dark, dirt moments, keeping the promises of the Word in our hearts and minds. Help us to remain patient and steadfast as we stand on the Word. Amen
