Day 13 – Product

Product (Fruit)
“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)
A seed becomes a product through perseverance. A plant grows from a seed in the soil, rising from the surface and blossoming into a plant or tree that produces fruit containing seed and the cycle continues.
Our fruit-bearing is a result of God’s work in us. Our endurance in the winter seasons, persevering and allowing the word to grow in us, creates a connection with God and He creates the fruit within us. God chose us and if we allow Him in our hearts, His fruit will abide in us. Simply put, our product is God’s finished work in us.
“You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.” John 15:16 (NLT)
God’s purpose and desire for us to bear lasting fruit, fruit that will give us a great harvest. May you be encouraged today that God will complete the work that He started in you. A seed needs to die before it can grow, sometimes winter seasons cause something to die in our lives or our hearts, bringing us to a place of standing on the Word and trusting God, allowing Him to come and do a perfect work in us.
Prayer: Father God, thank You for being the fruit-bearer in my life. I am thankful that it’s not about my ability or power, but allowing Your word into my heart, persevering as You bring me to a place of maturity and fruitfulness. Thank You for completing the work You have started for Me. Your perfect plan and purpose for my life. Amen
