Day 14 – Harvesting

Harvesting

“So pray to the Lord of the harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:38 (AMP)

Harvesting is all about the product (fruit) and God’s provision for us and His blessing for others. As farmers plant seed with harvesting in mind, God wants us to allow the word to mature in our hearts, in order for us to receive His fruit that will lead to our harvest – provision; prosperity; abundance; favour, and overflow. Our overflow will also bless others.

“Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us.” Psalm 67:6 (NLT)

If we can look at winter seasons with a harvest in mind, it should change the way we endure and experience things during this time. Knowing that in the midst of this hard season God is busy preparing me for a harvest that will not only bless me but also others, it changes something in our hearts and we become expectant and even excited!

“When God talks to you about a seed, he has a harvest on his mind.”- Mike Murdock

Dear reader, take another look at your winter season today, do you see a harvest? Can you trust God enough to know that the best is yet to come?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help us today to change the way we see our winter seasons. Thank You that you always have a harvest in mind for us, overflow and abundance but we need to believe before we see; we need to trust before we receive. Amen
