Day 14 – Prepared
“When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.” Proverbs 31:21
When I read this, the feeling of WOW overflows my mind. I am so happy that I am not the only one being proactive in life. I do not always get this perfectly correct, but I sure do my best to get all their needs met.
This means to me being prepared is praying over my family, covering them in the blood of Jesus before they leave the house in the morning. Praying for things they struggle with and sending them motivational scripts to help them understand their feelings and situation better so they are better equipped to handle life.
I want to learn more about God and how to live as Jesus did so that I can teach my family and do my best to learn them about our God.
I anoint my family. I listen to gospel music in the car. Soon, they also start listening. I read the Bible with them, or for them, every morning and evening.
This is me being prepared and making sure my husband, kids, and family is taken care of so that they know during cold nights and warm days when they feel frustrated or very cold in their hearts, just turn to God. He is the life and the living water.
Prayer: Dear Father God, thank You for Your living water and for making us women, the helpers of the world. Show me how I can help my family more and plan and structure my household to focus on You God for the rest of our days. Amen.
