Day 5 – Trust

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
The past few days we looked at a few examples to get unstuck. And yes, those are only a few suggestions to get you moving forward. The Hebrew word ‘Yanasa’ means to march – to move forward. It is used when God commanded the nation Israel to march into war and into the promised land. Words like these should be seen as commands and not suggestions, just like all beautiful words making up the Bible we love. Israel did not know what would happen to them in those situations, but they trusted God and His Word and followed the command ‘Yanasa’.
Whether it is in a situation or your spiritual growth, there is a Biblical answer that will guide you through it. Trust God with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding and move forward.
Prayer: Father, thank You for showing us how to get unstuck by following the instructions and commands in Your Word. Guide us to teach others when we see they are stuck. I trust You, my Lord, in everything and with all my heart. My own understanding leads me into trouble more often than I like, but I know wisdom and knowledge in You will guide me. In Jesus’s Name, I pray. Amen.
