Day 6 – BE

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Hamlet asked: “is it better to be or not to be?” In other words, he was asking if it is better to live or to die. In the dictionary, the word “Be” means to exist.

God says to us in John 16:33 for us to BE. To exist means to be alive. God does not want us to be alive but not exist. How many of us have said, “I’m alive because I have to breathe? I’m going through life but I’m dead on the inside. The pain is so much that breathing hurts.”

Don’t let the devil rob you of your right to be alive and exist! Existing means you are present. You feel, you hear, you love, you experience, you laugh, you cry. Your potter made you and moulded you. Breathed life into you. Brought you into existence. He calls you by your Name.

Choose to BE, wherever you are just BE. Don’t waste your existence on foolish things or hurt from the past or present.  Live your life to the fullest that God has given you. BE!

Prayer: Thank you Father for giving me life. You have given me existence and have given me my name. And I chose to BE because you are my daily bread, you are the air that I breathe. You are everything to me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
