Dear Thoughts… Day 8

No one cares about me

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV

I wonder what would happen in our lives if we really lived in the absolute assurance of God’s love? I’m not talking about knowing He loves us. I’m talking about LIVING as if we really believe it. The feeling of being neglected, rejected, or estranged creates a negative thought pattern where we start to believe that no one cares about us. “No one will miss me if I’m gone.” “This world will be a better place without me.”

We understand God loves us, but we are not living loved because we believe it. God cares. He cared enough to put you in this world for this time – you were born for such a time as this. Do you believe it?

Dear Thoughts… God cares. About me! He is the great I AM and He is my God. He will strengthen me and help me and uphold with His righteous right hand. When I feel neglected, rejected or estranged I will not fear. God will never leave me nor forsake me, and I believe I was born for such a time as this.

Prayer: Father, thank You that in the times I think no one cares about me, You have several promises reminding me that You care. Thank You for loving me enough to have created me for such a time as this and that I can change my mindset to live loved and to believe it. Amen.
