Day 14 – Gratitude

Gratitude

1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Today we celebrate New Year’s day.  Through these fourteen days, we have read how gracious our Abba Father was and is, by giving us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

It is only appropriate that we, as God’s children give thanks to Him for that. Without His Son Jesus Christ, things would be so different for us.  So, today, give thanks to Abba Father, not only for His Son Jesus but for all the blessings He has bestowed on us. For all the provisions He has given us, for carrying us through this difficult year.  Praise the Lord that He is our God that leads us by His right hand. Give Him thanks in faith for the new opportunities that He will give you in 2022.  Thank Him in faith for doors that will be opened in your favor.  Thanking Abba Father for loved ones that are distant, they will be saved in Jesus’s Name.  Thanking Him for healing, hallelujah!  And thanking Jesus Christ for His obedience to fulfil God’s plan and purpose in His life.  That Jesus so humbly said, “Father your will be done”.  May we all follow this beautiful example.

PRAYER:  Father God, today we thank you for all you have done and provided for us.  Your Word says that all things work out for the good of those that love you.  Father, we acknowledge that your will is perfect.  Thank you, Jesus, that you stepped down onto this earth, to save a sinner like me.  I love you, Jesus.  In Jesus’s name Amen.
