Day 5 – His Name

His Name will be called

Isaiah 9:6 “And His name will be called”

What a beautiful name this is.  What a powerful name this is: Jesus Christ our Lord.  As the song says, You have no rival, You have no equal, now and forever You reign.  Yours is the Kingdom, the glory, Name above all Names, Jesus Christ our King!

This is the Name we call out in victory! This is the Name we call out when fear troubles us.  It’s the Name we call out in times of despair, loneliness, trouble.  It’s the Name that we call out and that rescues us.  The Name that sets us free, that breaks all chains and bondage.  Hallelujah! What a powerful name it really is. And this glorious Jesus is ours and we are His.  Right now I encourage you just to raise your hands to the heavens and call out Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Just worship Him.  Remember death could not hold him, so if God is for you, who can be against you?

PRAYER: Father God, our beloved Jesus Christ, thank you for this powerful name that we can proclaim.  That is our help in time of need.  That is our anchor and our shout of victory in Jesus’s Name, Amen.
