Day 10 – I am UNLIMITED

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me…Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account….But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Philippians 4:13, 17,19, 20 (KJV)

Through God, we are unlimited. He says in today’s scripture that we can do all things through Him who gives us strength. How wonderful is this! To be unlimited in all we do. The meaning of “unlimited” in the dictionary gave me food for thought, though. I always think of the term “unlimited” as a very positive term, as it should be seen. If you carefully look at the meaning, however, it means that the person is “lacking any controls” and “Boundless”. I realized that this is sometimes the way we might see things (and ourselves). That the fact that Jesus forgave our sins, we can now carry on living the way we want to, without controls, because our sins have been forgiven. We can continue sinning and not really changing our sinful ways, because our sins have been forgiven anyway. We should see our freedom as positive and a way to live our life to serve God and spread the good news of Jesus’ sacrifice to save us. We should see our unlimited possibilities as a gift from God, and use them for His glory.. We are indeed unlimited, but should use that freedom for HIs glory.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for making me unlimited, through your sacrifice. Please help me to always remember that my life should be a life of gratitude for my freedom and unlimited abilities, through Your sacrifice. Thank you for loving me so much that you died on the cross for me, to be able to live. Amen.

Love, Michelle Horn
