Day 133 – Proverbs: Wisdom for all
“The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.” Proverbs 10:11 NLT
Reading Proverbs 10:1 to Proverbs 24:34
God wants His children to be wise. Two kinds of people portray two contrasting paths in life. The fool is the wicked, stubborn person who ignores and even hates God. The wise person seeks to know and love God. When we choose God’s way, He grants us wisdom to understand and practice His Word. The Bible leads us to live good lives, have healthy relationships, and make good and wise decisions.
In this section of Proverbs, Solomon imparts wisdom to everyone, irrespective of their age, gender, or social standing. These short, wise sayings give practical wisdom for daily living. Study them diligently and weave them into your daily growth.
Prayer: Father, I want to be known as a wise person acting according to Your Word. May my words be a life-giving fountain of Your truth. Help me to guide others to Your wisdom by following the wise counsel of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
