Day 14 – Jehovah Bore

“By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” Psalm 33:6

Have you ever imagined what a modern-day writer would write if he tried to describe the creation of the heavens and the earth? I know if I would attempt, an avalanche of adjectives would pour out! As well as pages of double-jointed and obtuse terms to try and describe the splendor of Creation. God said it, surely, sweetly, sublimely, and simply: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and earth” And just how beautiful that is. I am always tickled with interest when I read about how scientists are trying to discover the mystery of the creation of our universe. I can imagine them scratching their heads saying: “We’ve got to go back to the laboratory now, a lot of things we thought we knew we didn’t know”.

Jehovah Bore, the Lord who Creates just spoke and it was so!

Prayer: Father, Your words are the very breath of our creation. The very breath of my creation. Today I ask Father, that You would Breath over the people in my life. The ones I love, the ones that are only acquaintances, and even my enemies. Bless them Lord and create in them a universe of Your Love. Amen.

PS… Place your hand (palm open) in front of your mouth and breath on it. Do not blow, just breathe…. God breathed creation.
