Day 18 – I am CARED FOR
“I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through Jesus Christ!” Phillipians 4:19 TPT
After we received a retrenchment letter, Jehovah Jireh became alive in our lives these past three years. My salary covered our rent. That was it. No funds for food, petrol, or any immediate needs of our family. I know God’s Word says, “ask and it shall be given”, but how do you ask God for petrol?
The journey God took me on led me to total dependance on Him, and Him alone. When I needed petrol, I asked, and He provided. It was the same with food, clothes, school fees and more. Whatever the need we had, God abundantly provided. God cared for us then. He cares for us still.
Friend, I know some might be in the same boat, or finances just run short the whole time. But I want to encourage you with today’s verse and boldly say, “I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have…” He loves you so much that He WANTS to care for you.
Prayer: Father, You know the needs of every heart and I pray that you will provide as you did for us abundantly according to the riches of glory revealed through Jesus Christ. You are Jehovah Jirah in every situation we are. Thank You, Lord, that I am cared for. Amen.
