Day 19 – I am GIFTED

We tend to feel unworthy, not good enough, not enough, unable to be who God intended us to be. But in reality, we are all gifted. We have been formed by the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

I was shy, an introvert, hated having to give a speech at school, that meant I had to stand in front of the class and no matter how prepared I was, the thought of everyone staring at me, made me sick to my stomach, so much so that I would make every excuse, to not attend school on the days the speech had to be said.

However, 11 years later, after High School, my husband was called to be the Pastor of a church in Pretoria and I had to stand in front of a congregation, every Sunday, for the announcements and on stage in the Worship Team, in front of people. I was also called into ministry, talking to ladies at Ladies meetings and counselling. God has a sense of humour, but He also prepares you, and gives you the opportunity to flourish in your gifts.  Become so tuned to what is on God’s heart, that your inadequacies pale in comparison to what He can do through you. He has gifted you.

I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through your deepening intimacy with Him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His holy ones! (Ephesians 1:18-19, TPT).
