Learning scripture with colour helps you to move what you are trying to memorize from short-term to long-term memory processing.
It is your responsibility to TEST everything and hold on to the good, which is the golden key when doing a topical study.
The Bible study method of verse mapping is a beautiful way to deepen your walk with the Lord and unpack His promises.
You choose to study God’s Word because you WANT to NEED His Word.
My personal favorite is SOAP, maybe because it makes me think of Jesus’s blood washing me as white as snow.
It takes time to get used to penning everything down, and a little courage too – I found it easier to write down my deep thoughts and questions.
The word remember appears around 240 times in the Bible and is an indication of the importance to memorize the words of our loving Father.
Your journal does not need to be a reflection of your life, but you can use it as a study aid to note what you’ve studied and how you can apply it practically to your daily life.
Your journal can be a reflection of your journey and adventures with God. But you need to start somewhere…
