Day 8 – Memorisation Journals

“Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.” Isaiah 46:9

Your memories are unique to you. The same with your ability to memorize or recall it. It amazes me how some of my friends can quote scripture after scripture word for word. It’s like they read a passage once and it’s stuck in their mind for good. I, on the other hand, take days to memorize a few verses.

The word remember appears around 240 times in the Bible and is an indication of the importance to memorize the words of our loving Father. Though the words are ancient and of former things of old, it is fresh and relevant to us. God’s Word is alive!

What you remember helps shape your future and what a future you can shape by remembering God’s Word? We have created a Memory Journal page with instructions to assist you in the process of starting to memorize scripture (if you’re not a pro already).

Prayer: Father, I desire to memorize and recall Your Word and not forget any precious part of it just like You do not forget any part of me because there are none like You. Though Your Word is thousands of years old, every day and every word I read is fresh to my soul. Thank You that Your Word nourishes my soul. Amen.

Tip: Today in the Freebie section you can download a memory journal page or purchase the Memory Journal digital booklet. You might also like our memory tabs in the shop.
