Day 7 – What roof is in front of you?
โWhen Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.โ Mark 2:17 (KJV)
What is the roof boxing you in? Maybe your roof is fear. Maybe it is fatigue. Maybe it is past disappointment whispering,
But if Jesus is present, the roof is not the end of the story. It might be the beginning of a miracle. Roof-lifting faith says: I will climb when the door is blocked. I will persist when the crowd is thick. I will believe when the timeline stretches. I will carry others when they cannot walk.
Sister, if the door is closed, look up. Your miracle might be waiting on the other side of a roof if you are brave enough to lift it faithfully.
Prayer:Lord Jesus, when the way seems blocked, please give me courage to climb. When my faith feels small, strengthen it. When I grow weary of carrying others, remind me that You see my faith. When disappointment tempts me to turn around, help me lift off whatever stands between You and me. Make my faith bold. Make my hope stubborn. Make my love persistent. If there is a roof in front of me, show me how to remove it. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
