Day 25 – Different Women’s ministries

When our Bible group started, my husband could not understand why I HAD to attend every Saturday. It soon became the highlight of my week, and I did not miss a session. We are social beings and as women, “Together we are better!” Within the group, we strive to improve our biblical knowledge, hold each other accountable, help each other in our spiritual growth, and develop something deeper than friendship. We are indeed sisters in Christ.
So, what does the Titus 2 woman look like in action? Through one-on-one discipleship from a mature woman to a younger one, or through ministries focused on women. There is no manual (except for the Bible) to take you step-by-step through the process. However, women’s ministries can differ from one calling to another. We have included a questionnaire to help you identify your strong points and which ministry type suits you best.
Discipleship is not just a calling, it’s a commandment given by Jesus to ALL of us. Imagine the possibilities of creating a healthy, sound-minded, and loving community of women caring for the well-being of each other and teaching the truth of God’s Word through love.
Women of the Word wrote the Titus 2 manual for women’s discipleship in mind. This manual will give you the skills to start. Although we designed the manual with women in mind, anyone can also benefit from working through it, making it ideal for small group studies and the like. https://womenoftheword.co.za/shop/
Blessing: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift you up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. Amen.
