Day 26 – Strengths of a Spiritual Seer

“’𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦, ‘𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘛𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘺𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.” 1 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 28:6

David desired to build a temple to house the Ark of the Covenant. Perhaps he saw the vision of the temple and knew it would be a more permanent dwelling than the tent it was kept in. Though David’s vision was fulfilled by his son Solomon, it shows how seers often receive long-term visions, sometimes beyond their own lifetime.

Spiritual seers carry unique strengths that distinguish their gift:

• 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Seers can receive visions that extend beyond their lifetime, leaving a legacy for future generations to fulfil.

• 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: They see beyond what most people perceive, holding a clear image of the future God reveals.

• 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: Seers are given large-scale visions (often concerning nations, governments, or prophetic movements) and the ability to communicate them to those who will help bring them to completion.

• 𝗨𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵: When God shows them a vision, seers believe with certainty that it will happen exactly as He revealed. Their faith carries longevity, sustaining them until fulfilment.

Spiritual seers are visionaries and dreamers, entrusted with divine pictures that shape the future. Their strength lies in declaring what they see, so that God’s will can be established on earth.

Prayer: Father, thank You for giving the Body of Christ visionaries and dreamers who can communicate the direction we, as Your Church, need to take. Thank You for opening spiritual eyes to see beyond what others see, and for filling seers with faith to declare Your plans. Amen. ©
