Day 6 – The Best

 “And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe [for the guest of honor] and put it on him; and give him a bring for his hand and sandals for his feet. And bring the fattened calf and slaughter it, and let us [invite everyone and] feast and celebrate; for this son of mine was [as good as] dead and is alive again; he was lost and has been found.’ So they began to celebrate.” Luke 15: 21-24 (AMP)

Do you feel like you deserve the best even though you have sinned?

Nothing will ever qualify us for the love of God, except Jesus.

The hidden secrets and treasures of God enable us to receive the best from the Father since Jesus was slaughtered for our sins and already paid the price. Through Jesus, we receive the best of the Kingdom of God on the condition that we don’t return to our carnal ways of sin.

“Therefore, believers, since we have confidence and full freedom to enter the Holy Place [the place where God dwells] by [means of] the blood of Jesus, by this new and living way which He initiated and opened for us through the veil [as in the Holy of Holies], that is, through His flesh, and since we have a great and wonderful Priest [Who rules] over the house of God, let us approach [God] with a true and sincere heart in unqualified assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:19-21 (AMP)

Once our treasures are connected to the Kingdom of God, we feast at the table of God with hearts open and ready to receive His direction and riches for our lives.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your son Jesus who became the perfect offering for my sins. Thank You for being able to sit at Your feast with a clean and open heart, receiving all the riches and glory as a Child of the King. Amen.
