DAY 7: COMPASSION ON THE WAVERING

“Keep being compassionate to those who still have doubts, and snatch others out the fire to save them, but always couple your mercy with the fear of God.” Jude 1:22-22

Jesus told us to love others and it is not surprising that in the list of ways to end strong by building ourselves up in the faith, serving others is a key.

Affirming our faith in Jesus to another is indeed one of the most faith-building things we could do.

This section also points out the importance of not being led astray ourselves and the only way is to stand solidly in the living truth of the Word of God! Jesus Hallelujah!

Indeed, the reward is utter joy as we are “snatching them out of the fire”.

Jude is making a distinction between those who are doubting (in many cases these people could be close to accepting the truth), and the scoffers or those who are rebellious and arrogant, and not truly seeking the truth. May we always have discernment and willingness by the Holy Spirit.

May we always act with compassion and mercy in the fear of God, speaking and caring through the power of Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Precious Father, I am Your servant. I humbly ask that You will shield me from deception and use me to snatch others out of the fire. Show me opportunities to have compassion on the wavering and bring them into the Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
