DAY 7– Creative prayer – A.T.C.S

Lord, I will meditate on Your unfailing love, which You have poured out into the world. Your love for us is so great that You sent Jesus to die for our sins. This was the greatest act of love that You have shown us as our loving Father. I worship you Lord in Your glorious splendor, and I do it with a lot of gladness in my heart. 

As we come to the end of our prayer devotional, I hope that you have a different view of the importance of prayer and that you are motivated to change your prayer life and know the importance and power of prayer!

The English acronym A.C.T.S gives a creative method to explain and adapt a new way of praying.

Our prayer should include all or at least one of them, just an easy guide and creative way to add more value and power to your prayer life.

As you apply ATCS to your prayer life, I pray that Holy Spirit will open up a lot of new creative ways for you to spend time in prayer as it becomes your highest priority going forward.

A – ADORATION: Psalm 150:6 (NKJV) “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord”

C – CONFESSION: Psalm 32:1-2 (NKJV) “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.”

T – THANKSGIVING: Psalm 69:30-31 (NKJV) “I will praise the name of God with a song And will magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bull, Which has horns and hooves.”

S – SUPPLICATION: Philippians 4:6(NKJV) “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Give prayer first place in your life!”

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for receiving new revelation and inspiration regarding prayer. Holy Spirit, thank You for igniting a new passion and commitment in our hearts and minds, including adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication into our prayer life. Amen.
