Fasting like Daniel – Day 10

Lead me

Fast: Lunch

“Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalm 139:24 (NLT)

When jotting in my journal at night, I often run through my day in my head – what I’ve done, how I reacted and how would God have wanted to me react differently… Sometimes I look at it and think: “I’ve really been a lost sheep today!”

And yes, we all get that moment when you realised you didn’t follow Jesus’ voice. That you are the 1 sheep that strayed off a bit… And it doesn’t matter how many times you read Matthew 18:12-14 or Luke 15:3-7, the story never changes – Jesus always goes to find his sheep! God leads us every second, we need to be obedient to follow.

Ask God to show you what allows you to stray from being obedient to His voice.
