Listen – Day 10

Making choices

“Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:6

We are faced with making choices daily and making the small choices are easy because most of them are habitual.  Getting up for work, what to wear, what to eat etc. But when it comes to the bigger choices, we often stand at the crossroad of life. It’s in these moments when we ask God for direction and most often think we are not getting the answer. Our choice making is directly connected to listen to God’s voice. Are you listening for His voice or for the answer you want?

Seek God’s voice in everything. Even the little, habitual choices you make daily. Asking God and listening should come instinctively like breathing.

Prayer: Father, I often forget to listen for Your voice in the choices I make, and often than not I make the wrong ones. Thank You for guiding me and showing me which path to take in all the roads life takes me. Amen. ©
