Gift of hearing

“Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.” Isaiah 30:21

According to behaviourist specialists, 90% of communication does not consist of words. (I can just look at my kids and they know…) Your body language plays an important part in communication. As well as what you feel and know about a person. It’s the same when hearing God. Because we are all uniquely created, we “hear” Him differently. Hearing God is a gift to us as His children (hearing Him with your spiritual ears) and I’ve identified 4 types of prophetical hearing which we will discuss in the upcoming weeks. The Gift of Knowing, The Gift of Feeling, The Gift of Hearing and the Gift of Seeing. These gifts are all methods of hearing God’s voice, His special way of communicating with you.

But you might be bilingual in these gifts and will discover that God speaks to you in multiple ways. Sometimes, as the situation requires, He will use any method to communicate His heart to you. We just need to listen.

Prayer: Father, thank You so much for teaching me that there is more than one gift to hear You. Please open my heart so I can identify which gift suits me uniquely so I can concentrate on perfecting it to listen to You. Amen. ©
